It’s hard to put a dram of Pappy into words, though. The first word that comes to mind is “Wow!”
Without question, I would highly encourage you to give this bourbon a try if the opportunity presents itself, the palate is thick and viscous with more oak, spice, leather, and tobacco. This 23 Year bottle is lush and rounded and more austere, but yet more complex. This is a grown-up whiskey, assertive and self-possessed.
